About Me

I am an undergraduate student currently enrolled in the Bachelor’s Program for Urban Studies at the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies (SLU). I completed a Certificate of Public Administration & Public Policy at SLU. In addition, I possess a Certificate of Human Resources Practices from Pace University.

Being a student in the field that I care the most it’s very important to me because it allows me to enhance my knowledge on the topics I am most interested.

I have 23 years of experience working in City Government and I currently work as an Assistant Director for Public Space in the New York City Department of Transportation.

My interests are focused in Social Justice, primarily in Transportation related issues. I am an advocate for transportation & public space equity, especially in The Bronx. I’ve come to appreciate immense diversity and embrace people’s differences as I learn about difference kind of social justice whether is transportation or housing. In addition, I serve as a Board Member in the Housing & Zoning Committee at my local Community Board.

My personal interests are cycling, hiking, running and love the outdoors! I have completed 3 NYC Marathons, and multiple half marathons, 10ks, 5ks, long distance bike tours, obstacle courses, Spartan, mud runs and 1 Triathlon. I love baseball and Football, and I am a big fan of the New York Yankees and Giants. I also enjoy watching UFC, Boxing, Wrestling and Monster Trucks.
