NYC Department of Transportation, Public Space Unit
Acting Assistant Director of Public Space Programming

  • Directs all Public Space Programming Initiatives including cycling development, plans the
    implementation of programming citywide; prepares calendars and website materials for press and
    social media; supports the development of new public space programs
  • Manages the programming budget and contract, works closely in the development of RFPs,
    coordinates SAPO permits, and provides logistical event support to partners, including tracking and
    mapping; prepares briefings on programming schedules, budget proposals, reports, and other related
    documents for senior staff
  • Organizes community engagement with multiple agencies, community partners, and organizations;
    creates public engagement surveys; supports logistics and programming for DOT-produced city-wide
    events like Car Free Earth Day and Summer Streets

Program Manager

  • Implemented Bike Street Improvement Projects, conducted field surveys, developed work programs,
    and implementation scheduled meetings; prepared and presented community outreach materials;
    monitored bike lanes project installation and tracked progress.
  • Managed and organized large Community & Bike Outreach events; provided programming to support
    Bike the Block initiatives to promote biking focused in Priority Investment Areas; coordinated with
    internal and external stakeholders citywide; prepared correspondence and responded to press
    inquiries; coordinated Bike Infrastructure meetings with other units, bike advocates, and community
    leaders to discuss bike network and provided updates.
  • Managed Grant reporting for Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) & Bike Network Development
    (BND) Bike Studies, coordinated procurement needs for the unit; provided support with planning,
    development, and implementation of staffing and hiring plans for the unit and provided guidance and
    recommendations in the preparation of personnel services budget plans and projections.

Administrative Manager

  • Oversaw all administrative matters for the Director of Human Resources, Led the Agency’s Pilot
    Program of Employee Performance Evaluation; conducted research as needed; Interacted with
    high-level executives and agency management; organized and facilitated monthly Personnel
    Coordinator’s meetings
  • Prepared comprehensive personnel reports using various databases such as CHRMS, NYCAPS, PMS, and
    PRISE to access information required for responses; analysis of data and preparation of
    graphs/charts with summation; entered and updated data information into internal personnel computer
    tracking system; compiled and proofread source documents needed for Executive Staff meetings and HR
    & Payroll presentations
  • Compiled, analyzed, and processed HR reports/data to inform and support management
    decision-making; handles Department of Investigation and Law Department personnel- related
    requests, provided and handled confidential information; represented the Agency at citywide 55-a
    meetings with DCAS and provided support related to the program


NYC Department of Transportation, Facilities Management Unit

Project Manager / Building Management Liaison

  • Managed the contract of $1.2 million for Universal and Electronic Waste Inspection (VEOLIA) for
    the agency, prepared Financial Billing Statements for submission to the ACCO office, processed
    Invoices, and payments; served as the Agency’s Recycling Coordinator; oversaw the Agency’s
    compliance with the New York City Local Law 36 and submitted an annual report to DSNY.
  • Administered the leases for 4 DOT locations, planned and coordinated facility repairs,
    modifications, improvements, and relocations; submitted work orders, ensured that all services and
    repairs were completed promptly; updated emergency action plans
  • Coordinated with the Offices of Safety & Health and Labor Relations regarding pre- occupancy
    walkthroughs to ensure OSHA and Union compliance


NYC Department of Youth & Community Development, Personnel Unit
Executive Assistant / Personnel Liaison

  • Maintained the Deputy Commissioner’s calendar and other high-level staff’s calendar; coordinated
    meetings with the senior team, managed multiple personnel projects related to union increases,
    salary consolidations, and civil service titles
  • Updated, tracked, and maintained all Pending Personnel Action Requests (PARS) reports; prepared
    materials for meetings and presentations for the First Deputy Commissioner
  • Prepared correspondence and confidential reports, created and maintained databases pertaining to
    Human Resources, Payroll, and Labor Relations issues
    Human Resources Coordinator
  • Facilitated the recruitment and onboarding process, conducted civil service hiring pools,
    created job vacancies; prepared New Hire packages; maintained complete resume files, and a computer
    database tracking system, researched the status of applications; scheduled interviews; conducted
    employee background investigations
  • Processed all personnel actions such as new hires, transfers, terminations, and longevity;
    coordinated ongoing employee recruitment process; prepared the Division’s performance evaluations;
    assisted with the review and development of processes and procedures to ensure compliance with
    City, State, and Federal rules and regulations and make recommendations related to the
    implementation and modification of processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Developed Managerial Position Descriptions (MPDs), represented the Agency at recruiting events
    and health fairs; coordinated Human Resources projects and initiatives
